Howard Martin
Howard Martin helped Doc Childre found HeartMath, a company that researches and teaches stress reduction through emotional and heart-based awareness. He now serves as the firm’s head of strategic development. In 1999, he coauthored “The HeartMath Solution” and the following year wrote an audio learning program, “The HeartMath Method.”
A former professional musician, Martin also produced award-winning musical recordings, including Doc Childre’s “Heart Zones.” The four songs were created to calm and relax, while increasing vitality and mental clarity. The CD spent 50 consecutive weeks on Billboard Magazine’s music charts.
Martin has conducted HeartMath training and keynote presentations for Fortune 100 companies, government agencies, all four branches of the U.S. military, school systems, ecumenical organizations and through publicly promoted events in over 50 cities on four continents.
He is a member of Jack Canfield’s Transformational Leadership Council, an organization of leaders in the fields of personal, organizational and social transformation. Martin conducts 75 media interviews and webinars annually and speaks internationally on developing new intelligence to navigate life during changing times.
In 2008 he played a key role in launching the Global Coherence Initiative. He serves on the steering committee of this science-based project, created to unite millions of people in heart-focused care and intention to shift global consciousness.
